Accessibility Statement
Last updated: July 2025
1. Introduction
Copecart GmbH is committed to making its digital offerings accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. We continuously work to improve the accessibility of our website in accordance with national and international guidelines. This statement describes the current status of accessibility on www.copecart.com and the measures we are taking to ensure it.
2. Status of Compliance with Requirements
This website is partially accessible. It partially complies with BITV 2.0 (Barrier-Free Information Technology Ordinance) and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at conformity level F. The goal is to achieve conformity level AAA.
We are aware that not all areas of our website are fully accessible. We are actively working to eliminate the remaining barriers and continuously improve accessibility.
3. Non-Accessible Content and Justification
The following content is currently not fully accessible, and we are working to address it:
· Some of our product descriptions or terms and conditions created before 01.05.2025 may not be fully optimized in terms of structure and reading order.
o Justification: The manual editing of the large number of existing documents requires significant effort.
o Planned measure: We will gradually revise all relevant documents and provide them in an accessible format. New documents will be created in an accessible manner from the outset.
· e.g., Videos without complete subtitles or audio descriptions: Some of our marketing or explanatory videos may not yet have complete subtitles or audio descriptions.
o Justification: Creating high-quality subtitles and audio descriptions is time-consuming.
o Planned measure: We will progressively add subtitles and audio descriptions to existing videos. Accessibility will be considered from the start when creating new videos.
· e.g., Certain interactive elements or forms: Some more complex filter or search functions or certain form fields may not yet be optimal for screen readers or keyboard navigation.
o Justification: The complexity of these elements requires detailed technical adjustments.
o Planned measure: We are working to optimize the accessibility of these elements and ensure that all functions can also be operated via keyboard and correctly captured by screen readers.
